Ejercicio para expertos en investigación en salud


El otro día charlaba con Rafa (más colega que tutor) sobre los proyectos europeos, resulta que en la convocatoria recientemente resuelta el proyecto que envió junto con otros importantes grupos europeos fue evaluado positivamente pero no llega a ser financiado porque otro ha quedado por delante.
Sabiendo que del consorcio creado por mi jefe nadie estaba en la mesa que decidió las areas temáticas a financiar, cabe preguntarse si alguien del proyecto vencedor lo estaba o era afín. Lo que le hubiera podido otorgar cierta ventaja temporal en la preparación del mismo, por no decir...
Esto es lo de siempre con la información, que en cierta manera siempre termina siendo privilegiada. Como ejemplo me culpo, he disfrutado de la mayoría de convocatorias de movilidad de mi Universidad porque vía las Comisiones en las que participaba estaba informado al dedillo, de otra manera quizás no me hubiera enterado.
Pues bien, a los biosanitarios más avezados os propongo una porra, según el área concreta de los proyectos europeos de salud ¿ qué pope investigador español y que pope europeo señalariais? Os pego las áreas concretas en el primer comentario, luego sólo tenéis que contestar a la que os sepáis.

Obviamente no me he leido las proposals, me voy directamente a hablar de la info privilegiada y el "EN USA hay entidades que dan fondos para investigación que están siempre abiertas", vale que no son las más gordas pero están ahí disponibles. Las otras si que van por plazos. Cuando tienes algo que proponer, lo propones, y si pasa a mayor consideración entonces te lo tienes que currar más... pero en primera instancia un white paper, no más de 5 folios. Ahorra tiempo a todos.

Por lo demás, pues.. somos humanos. Siempre va a haber quien se aproveche del sistema que conoce bien, está claro, para eso se conoce bien. En cierto modo es un criterio de selección: demuestra que te preocupas por conocer las posibilidades, lo que es extendible a la faceta investigadora. Ahora bien, en política, que se llega a los cargos no siempre por propuestas y demás sistemas selectivos, es delito tipificado (y me parece bien) el uso y abuso de info privilegiada. Es diferente conocer el sistema que aprovecharse de el.
